【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스는 16일 교내 100주년기념관 대강당에서 ‘2024년 봄 학위수여식을 거행하고 학사 1,248명, 석사 46명, 박사 12명 등 총 1,306명을 배출했다.

이날 학위수여식에서 윤재웅 동국대 총장은 졸업식사를 통해 “오늘 졸업하는 여러분은 코로나 팬데믹이 시작될 무렵 입학하여 교육환경의 급격한 변화에 적응하며 대학생활을 보낸 첫번째 세대”라며 “어려움도 많았기에 오늘 이룬 성취가 더욱 뜻깊고 이러한 힘든 시간들이 앞으로의 인생을 살아가는데 소중한 자산이 되었을 것”이라고 응원의 메시지를 전했다.

한편 동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 학위수여식을 맞아 교내 곳곳에 포토존을 설치하였으며, 졸업생들은 학위복을 입고 가족, 친구들과 기념사진을 찍으며 졸업을 축하하는 모습을 보였다.
