【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이철우)는 2024년 의정활동의 첫 행보로 16일 의회 본회의장에서 8일간의 일정으로제280회 경주시의회 임시회를 개회했다.

제1차 본회의에 앞서 최재필 의원은 ‘안정적인 노후를 위한 실버타운의 건립 제안’에 대해 5분 자유발언을 했다.
이어 본회의에서는 제280회 임시회 회기결정의 건, 2024년도시정에 관한 보고, 2023회계연도 결산검사위원 선임의 건, 2024년도 행정사무감사 실시시기 및 기간 결정의 건, 회의록서명위원 선임의 건, 조례안 및 일반안건 심의, 기타안건 등을 처리했다.
17일부터 22일까지의 휴회기간동안 각 상임위원회에서는 2024년도 주요업무에 대한 보고를 받고, 조례안 및 일반안건에 대한 심사를 진행하게 된다.
마지막 날인 23일 제2차 본회의에서는 각 상임위원회에서 심사한 사항 및 기타 안건에대하여 최종 의결한다.
이번 임시회에는 이동협 부의장이 대표 발의한 경주시 플랫폼 배달종사자 지원 조례안, 최재필 의원이 대표 발의한경주시 고려인 주민 지원 조례안, 주동열 의원이대표 발의한 경주시 착한가격업소 지원에관한 조례 일부개정조례안, 정성룡 의원이 대표 발의한 경주시 시민안전교육 진흥 조례안, 최영기 의원이 대표 발의한 경주시 부동산가격공시위원회 설치 및 운영에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안, 김종우 의원이 대표 발의한 경주시 고독사 예방 및 사회적 고립가구 지원조례안 등 8건의 조례안이 상정됐다.
또한 2024년도 주요업무와 2023년도 공모사업 추진현황 등 2건의보고가 진행되며, 경주시 도시관리계획 결정에 따른 의견 청취안 등2건의 의견 청취안과 함께 경주시 국공립어린이집 민간위탁 동의안, 2024년도 제1차 공유재산 관리계획 변경안에 대해서도 심사한다.
이철우 의장은 개회사에서 “2024년 의정활동의 방향으로 ‘시민과 함께하는의회’, ‘전문성을 갖춘 의회’, ‘경주시와 협력 및 견제하는 의회’가 될 것을다짐하며, 특히 2025 APEC 정상회의의 경주유치에도 최선을 다하겠다.”고강조했다.
아울러 제280회 임시회에 대해서도 ”작년 행정사무감사와 예결산심사 등을 통해 논의된 사항이 2024년 업무계획에 적절히 반영되었는지 면밀히검토할 것을 당부드리며, 잘된 점을 계승하고 부족한 점은 개선하는적극적인 의정활동을 펼치겠다.” 고 말했다.
