먼저 시는 타시·군 시민들을 대상으로 경주 생활을 체험할 기회를 제공하면서 정주 인구로 정착을 유도하기 위한 시 특화 정책인 ‘경주에서 한달 살아보기’에 참여할 지원자를 모집한다.
이번 모집은 7팀을 선발해 1팀당 숙박비 최대 150만원, 1인당 체험활동비로 최대 32만원까지 지원한다.
이어 동국대 WISE캠퍼스, 위덕대, 신경주대 등 지역 3개 대학 재학생을 대상으로 전입 시 연 40만원을 지원하는 경주사랑 장학금 사업도 올해 실시된다.
전입 신고일 기준 3년간 경주 거주 이력이 없고, 2020년 1월 1일 이후 전입한 경주 지역 내 대학생이 대상자다.
이밖에도 1년 이내 타 시군에서 전입한 세대(2인 이상)를 대상으로 한 상수도 감면 대상도 실시된다.
1년간 최대 월 5000원씩의 상수도 요금이 할인되며, 주소지 읍면동 행정복지센터를 통해 신청하면 된다.
