브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 ‘갤럭시 S24 시리즈’에서 첫 선을 보인 ‘갤럭시 AI’ 기능을 갤럭시 S23 등 지난해 출시한 주요 모델에 지원한다.
삼성전자는 오는 3월 말부터 △갤럭시 S23 시리즈(S23·S23+·S23 울트라) △갤럭시 S23 FE △갤럭시 Z 폴드5 △갤럭시 Z 플립5 △갤럭시 탭 S9 시리즈(S9·S9+·S9 울트라) 등 총 9개 모델 대상 One UI 6.1소프트웨어 업데이트를 진행할 예정이다. 기기·기능별 세부 업데이트 일정은 다를 수 있다.
이번 업데이트를 통해 사용자는 13개 언어의 번역과 메시지 톤 변화를 지원하는 ‘채팅 어시스트(Chat Assist)’와 ‘실시간 통역(Live Translate)’ 등 언어의 장벽을 뛰어넘는 의사 소통 기능을 사용할 수 있게 된다.

갤럭시 AI는 영상 감상에서도 새로운 경험을 제공한다. ‘인스턴트 슬로모(Instant Slow-mo)’ 기능을 통해 촬영된 영상을 자연스러운 슬로우 효과로 감상할 수 있다. 단, 갤럭시 S23 FE는 지원되지 않는다.
