한수원은 글로벌 최고 수준의 운영역량 확보와 해외 원전 수출 요건 만족을 위해 통합경영관리 모델을 운영하고 있으며, 통합경영관리의 핵심인 엔지니어링 역량 강화를 위해 지난해 12월 16일 전사 조직개편을 단행한 바 있다.
조직개편에서는 엔지니어링 체계 구축을 위해 기존 정비조직을 원인분석, 구매, 감독 등의 업무 프로세스 단위로 부서를 재편했다.
이에 따라 이번 계획예방정비에서 정비 작업에 분야별 전문가가 설비 현안 검토에 참여하며 설비관리의 안정성을 한층 높였다. 한수원은 엔지니어링 체계가 완벽히 정착되면 원전의 안전성은 물론, 이용률 향상 효과도 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
