파주소방서는 봄철 해빙기를 맞아 매몰사고 및 건물 붕괴사고 발생 시 신속한 대응을 위해 ‘해빙기 붕괴사고 대비 구조대원 특별 교육·훈련’을 실시했다고 11일 밝혔다.
3월 해빙기의 약해진 지반으로 매몰 및 붕괴사고 등 대형재난 발생 시 구조활동에 투입될 구조대원의 대응역량 강화를 목적으로 실시됐다.
이번 훈련은 문산읍 선유리 일대 신축공사 현장의 협조로 훈련장을 실제 사고 현장과 비슷한 환경으로 조성했으며 구조대원은 다양한 구조 장비를 활용해 훈련을 진행했다.

주요 훈련 내용은 ▲붕괴 건축물 (구조)원리 및 제원 ▲매몰자 사고대응구조 훈련 ▲에어백, 동력절단기 등 장비조작 ▲첨단 장비 활용 요구조자 구조 순으로 실시됐다.
이상태 서장은 “앞으로 다양한 환경의 실전과 같은 훈련 프로그램으로 정기적인 반복 숙달을 통해 구조대원 임무를 완수할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.[파주=박정호 기자]
