환경개선부담금은 쾌적한 환경을 조성하고자 도입된 제도로 경유 연료를 사용하는 차량을 대상으로 매년 3월과 9월 후납제 방식으로 부과된다. 다만 저공해자동차 및 유로 5~6등급 경유차는 부과 대상에서 제외다.
은행 CD/ATM기, 가상계좌, 신용카드, 위택스, 인터넷 지로 등을 통해 납부하면 된다. 3월에 연납하면 5% 감면 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
연납 신청은 오는 29일까지 시청 환경정책과로 전화하거나 시청 누리집에서 신청할 수 있다. 자세한 사항은 경주시청 환경정책과로 문의하면 된다.
김홍근 경주시 환경정책과장은 “환경개선부담금은 대기환경 개선 사업에 중요한 재원인 만큼 기간 내 납부하길 바란다”고 말했다.
