진주시, 봄철 농산물 안전성 확보 ‘총력’

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 국립농산물품질관리원 경남지원과 합동으로 오는 6월 15일까지 봄철 출하 시설채소 재배 농가를 대상으로 상반기 생산단계 점검을 실시한다고 22일 밝혔다.

국립농산물품질관리원은 지난 1~2월 전국 농산물 생산지를 점검해 토양처리제 성분 허용기준을 초과한 부적합 농가를 다수 적발해 출하 작물폐기 및 행정조치를 실시했다.

이에 진주시는 토양처리 살충제 부적합 발생위험이 높은 농가를 방문해 토양처리 살충제 방제시기 및 살포횟수 준수, 농약 성분에 대한 토양 잔류량 누적 주의 등을 안내하고 있다.

아울러 시는 읍면사무소에 농약안전사용 리플릿을 비치해 방문하는 농업인에게 토양살충제에 대한 올바른 농약사용을 안내하고 있다.

진주시 관계자는 "우수농산물의 신뢰도를 확보하고, 시장에서 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”며 농가에“주의사항을 엄격히 준수해 달라”고 당부했다.
