브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회는 오는 5월 4일과 5일 양일 간 렛츠런파크 서울에서 ‘말마(MALMA) 패밀리 데이’ 어린이날 행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
올해 행사는 4일 놀라운지에서 시행되는 다양한 경품행사를 시작으로 5일 포니랜드에서 펼쳐지는 미니 체육대회, 가족 장기자랑, 퀴즈대회 등 다채로운 이벤트로 채워진다.
한국마사회 대표 캐릭터 ‘말마(MALMA)’와 함께하는 이번 행사는 ‘말마 패밀리 데이’라는 콘셉트에 맞게 온 가족이 부담 없이 참여할 수 있는 프로그램으로 기획됐다. ‘무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다’, ‘림보게임’과 같이 남녀노소 함께 즐길 수 있는 콘텐츠를 통해 참여가족에게 소중한 추억을 선사할 예정이다.
또한, 렛츠런파크 서울에서만 경험할 수 있는 ‘포니 승마체험’은 직접 말을 타보거나 말과 가까이서 교감해봄으로써, 동물원 외에는 말을 보기 힘든 도심 어린이들에게 이색적인 경험이 돼 줄 것으로 기대된다.
이 밖에도 시간대별로 매직 버블쇼, 말마와 함께하는 퍼레이드 등이 준비돼 있으며, 페이스페인팅, 비즈 만들기, 포니 캐릭터 색칠하기 등 어린이들의 오감을 채워줄 다양한 체험 이벤트도 진행된다.
마사회 관계자는 “보다 많은 가족들이 소중한 추억을 만들어 가실 수 있도록 정성을 다해 어린이날 행사를 준비했다”며 “행사가 열리는 포니랜드는 무료로 개방되고, 참여 어린이 전원에게 웰컴 기프트를 제공한다. 렛츠런파크 서울에서 아이들과 행복한 시간을 보내시길 바란다”고 말했다.
