【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교가 제17회 세계인의 날 기념 ‘2024 다(多)모인 축제 한마당’ 소식을 20일 전했다.

지난 18일 대구출입국·외국인사무소와 대구출입국·외국인사무소 사회통합협의회가 공동 주최하고 영진전문대학교 평생교육원이 지원한 이번 행사는 영진전문대학교 백호체육관에서 개최됐다.
이날 행사에는 대구경북 지역에 거주하는 외국인과 일반 시민 등 300여 명이 참가해 화합과 교류, 이해를 증진하는 뜻 깊은 시간을 가졌다.
축제는 다문화 가정 2세 자녀들이 전통북 공연과 난타 공연으로 시작해 오후 1시 30분 김홍규 대구출입국·외국인사무소장 개회 선언과 안상규 사회통합협의회 회장의 축사, 김기종 영진전문대 평생교육원장의 환영사로 이어졌다.
바로 이어 진행된‘다(多)모인 운동회’에는 내·외국인 혼합 선수단 4팀, 총 120명이 참가해 지구를 굴려라 등의 단체전과 고무신 양궁, 림보, 황소 줄다리기 등의 개인전을 펼쳤다. 또한 참가자들의 높은 호응 속에 세계문화의 이해 OX 퀴즈가 진행됐다.
이와 함께 중국, 베트남, 태국, 파키스탄, 스리랑카, 일본, 필리핀 등 7개국의 문화 체험 부스와 한국 전통놀이와 문화 퀴즈 참여 이벤트 부스가 마련돼 다채로운 볼거리와 즐길 거리를 제공했다.
대구출입국·외국인사무소 관계자는 “이번 '2024 다(多)모인 축제 한마당’에 많은 내·외국인이 참석해 함께 즐기고 소중한 추억을 만들었다”며 “이번 행사를 통해 지역 사회 내 다양한 문화가 조화를 이루며, 내외국인이 서로를 존중하며 함께 살아가는 글로벌 시민정신이 정착되기를 바란다”고 덧붙였다.

In the ‘Multi-Gather Sports Day’ held immediately after, a total of 120 people, including 4 teams of mixed domestic and foreign athletes, participated in team competitions such as ‘Roll the Earth’ and individual competitions such as rubber shoe archery, limbo, and bull tug-of-war. Additionally, an OX quiz on understanding world culture was held with great response from participants.
In addition, cultural experience booths from seven countries, including China, Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Japan, and the Philippines, as well as Korean traditional games and cultural quiz participation event booths were set up to provide a variety of things to see and enjoy.
An official from the Daegu Immigration and Immigration Office said, “Many Koreans and foreigners attended the ‘2024 Multi-Gather Festival’ and enjoyed it together and made precious memories.” He added, “Through this event, various cultures within the local community harmonized, “I hope that the spirit of global citizenship, where foreigners respect each other and live together, will become established,” he added.
