국제미래학회는 7월3일 보도자료에서 “국내외를 대표하는 미래 학술단체인 국제미래학회가 인공지능이 몰고 온 인류혁명 시대에 한국의 정신적 뿌리인 유학과 인성의 중요성과 역할을 포함한 미래 전략을 논의하는 학술세미나를 개최했다. 국제미래학회(안종배 회장)는 21C제주유교문화발전연구원(박용모 원장)과 함께 총괄하여 지난 7월3일 오전10시~오후 2시까지 제주퍼시픽 호텔 연회장에서 ‘인공지능이 몰고 온 인류혁명 시대 유학과 인성의 미래 전략 학술 세미나’를 개최했다. 학술세미나 기념행사로 박용오 21C제주유교문화발전연구원장이 인사말을 전하고 오영훈 제주특별자치도 도지사, 김광수 제주특별자치도 교육감, 김경학 제주특별자치도의회 의장이 축사를 했다”고 소개했다.

보도자료에 따르면, 이날 학술세미나에서 안종배 국제미래학 회장이 “인공지능이 몰고온 인류혁명 시대 유학과 인성 확산 섭렵 미래 전략”을 주제로 주제강연을 했다. 안종배 회장은 주제 강연에서 ‘인공지능의 급속한 발전이 인류혁명 시대를 몰고 오고 있다. 인공지능이 주도하는 인류혁명 시대에 인간이 주체가 되고 인간다움을 지키기 위해 인간의 존엄성과 인성, 영성의 강화가 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 인류혁명 시대에 유학 정신인 인(仁), 의(義), 예(禮), 지(智), 신(信)은 시대 변화 속에서 인간 중심의 가치를 지키는 지침이 된다. 이러한 유학 정신의 덕목들은 인류혁명 시대에 인간의 존엄성, 인성과 영성을 강화하고, 인류 공영의 미래 사회를 만드는 데 기여한다. 이처럼 유학 정신은 인류혁명 시대에 더욱 중요해지고 인류의 미래를 위해 더욱 확산되어야 한다.”고 강조했다.
