이창호 한중교류촉진위원회 위원장은 지난 9일 오후 서울 중구 명동 소재 주한 중국 대사관에서 열린 싱하이밍(邢海明) 주한 중국 대사 이임식에 참석했다.
이날 이해찬, 정운찬, 김부겸 전 국무총리, 국민의 힘 당 황우려 비대위원장, 한중의원연맹김태년 회장, 21세기한중교류협회 김한규 회장 등 정치, 경제, 문화, 종교, 매스컴, 우호 단체 등 각계 인사 500여명이 참석했다.
이날 싱 대사는 “얼마 전 리창 총리가 제9차 한중일 정상회의에 참석하기 위해 방한 한 동안 윤석열 대통령과 만나 많은 중요한 공감대를 형성했다.” 밝혔고 “상호우호 신뢰의 큰 방향을 잡고 서로 신뢰하는 이웃, 서로 성취하는 동반자가 되어 한중 전략적 협력동반자관계가 안정되고 멀리 나아가도록 추진하기를 바란다”라고 이임사에서 밝혔다.
이 위원장은 "싱하이밍 대사는 한중관계 발전에 최고의 대사였다"면서 "한국인은 한중 교류 촉진을 위한 싱 대사의 열정과 노력을 영원히 기억할 것이며, 아쉬움과 함께 석별의 정”을 표했다.

한편 싱 대사는 북한 사리원농대를 졸업하고, 중국 외교부에 입부한 이후 여러 차례 한국에서 근무했다. 그러다 지난 2020년 1월 주한중국 대사로 부임해 4년 6개월 동안 한중 관계 발전에 크게 기여했다.
