파주시가 사회적경제부문 탁월한 성과를 인정받아 ‘제29회 한국 지방자치경영대상’에서 ‘사회적경제대상’을 수상했다.
(사)한국공공자치연구원이 주관하는 한국지방자치경영대상은 지방행정의 선진화를 도모하고자 1996년 제정되어 올해로 29회를 맞이했으며, 민간기관이 실시하는 평가 중 가장 권위가 높은 것으로 알려져 있다.

파주시는 2021년 ‘환경안전대상’, 2022년 ‘종합대상’, 2023년 ‘인재육성대상’에 이어 올해 ‘사회적경제대상’으로 4년 연속 수상의 영예를 안았다.
그간 파주시는 ▲파주형 사회적경제 5개년 기본계획 수립 ▲교육, 사업자금, 사업공간 지원 등 다양한 맞춤형 사업 지원 ▲사회적경제 조직 네트워크 활동 지원 등의 사업을 추진해 왔다.
또한, 사회적경제 기업의 지속가능한 판로 확대를 위해 지역의 관광자원과 연계한 ‘사회적경제 나눔장터’ 사업을 추진하여 지역과 기업이 함께 상생 협력하는 사업모델을 개발한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
