고양특례시 대화도서관은 2024년 「열두달 인문학당 7월 - 공원의 위로」를 고양시민 40명을 대상으로 7월 25일 목요일 오후 7시 10분에 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번「열두달 인문학당」 7월편에는 누구에게나 자리를 내주는 위로의 장소이자 모두를 환대하는 공간인 공원에 대한 역사적 변천사를 알아보며 다양한 사례를 통해 공원을 살펴보는 기회를 가질 예정이다.

강연자인 배정한 교수는 서울대학교 조경·지역시스템공학부 교수이며, 월간 ‘환경과 조경’의 편집주간으로 활동하고 있다. 조경 이론과 설계, 조경 미학과 비평의 사이 영역을 탐구하며, 행정중심복합도시 중앙녹지공간, 광교호수공원, 용산공원 등 프로젝트의 기획과 구상에 참여하기도 했다.
도서관 관계자는 “고양시는 도서관 옆에 푸른 녹지 가득한 공원이 있는 건강 도시로 이번 강연으로 나만의 힐링 가득한 공원을 찾아 떠나는 뜻깊은 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
프로그램 신청은 7월 15일 오전 10시부터 고양시도서관센터 누리집에서 선착순으로 할 수 있다.
