경주시, 산내지역 광역상수도 사업 확대 추진

18일 경주시에 따르면 이 사업은 2017년부터 2026년까지 10년간 사업비 416억원을 투입해 건천정수장에서 산내면 전역으로 광역상수도를 공급하는 게 골자다.

1000㎥ 용량의 배수지 1개소를 포함해 상수관 100㎞, 가압장 23개소가 설치된다. 현재까지 상수관 37㎞가 설치됐으며, 건천읍 송선리에서 감산·의곡·신원리 구간까지 사업비 150억원이 투입됐다.

올해는 사업비 60억원을 들여 대현리 지방도 상수관 6㎞와 의곡리 급수관 4㎞를 설치한다. 이는 당초 예산 45억원에 1회 추경으로 추가된 15억원을 포함한 금액이다.

이번 추경을 통해 대현2리 농어촌도로 구간에 4.3㎞의 상수관이 추가로 매설될 예정이다. 또한 산내면 물복지 실현을 위해 ‘산내지역 광역상수도 사업’을 2026년 12월까지 마무리 지을 계획이다.

주낙영 경주시장은 “이 사업을 통해 산내지역 주민들은 안정적이고 균등한 상수도 서비스를 받을 수 있게 되어 생활 편의성이 크게 향상될 것”이라며 “경주시는 앞으로도 상수도 공급 확대를 위해 미 급수지역에 대한 공급계획을 조기에 수립해 깨끗하고 안정적인 맑은 물을 공급하기 위해 최선을 다 하겠다”고 강조했다.
