세종시교육청이 2024년 직업계고 글로벌 현장학습을 위한 학생 10명을 대상으로 8월 5일부터 8일까지 국제교육교류센터에서 영어캠프를 실시한다.
이번 캠프는 학생들이 호주 현지 문화를 잘 이해하고 직무 영어에 대한 자신감을 높일 수 있도록 기획되었다.
세종시교육청은 학생들이 호주 현지에서 쉽게 영어로 소통하며 적응할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 프로그램을 체계적으로 구성했다.
또한, 학교 현장의 영어 교사와 원어민 교사들이 함께 직업계고 학생들을 위해 학습 주제별로 인터뷰, 역할극, 협동학습 등 다양한 활동을 준비했다.
신명희 교육국장은 “직업계고 글로벌 현장학습은 직업계고 학생들에게 다양한 체험 및 영어학습의 기회를 제공하여 학생들이 글로벌 기술 인재로 성장할 수 있는 자양분이 될 것”이며 “이번 해외 취업 영어캠프를 통해서 해외 현지 적응에 대한 자신감을 키우는 계기가 되고, 더 나아가 해외 취업에 대한 굳은 자세가 형성되길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
한편, 2024년 직업계고 글로벌 현장학습은 10월 21일부터 12월 6일까지(6주간) 호주 브리즈번시에서 영어교육(3주) 및 직무교육(3주)을 실시할 예정이다.
