세종시가 국토교통부에서 주관하는 ‘2024년 상반기 청년특화 공공임대주택 공모사업’에 최종 선정돼, 행정중심복합도시건설청(이하 행복청)과 무주택 청년을 대상으로 공공임대주택 202호를 공급한다고 16일 밝혔다.
공모사업 선정으로 세종시는 주택건설비의 최대 80%(출자 39%, 융자 41%)까지 지원받을 수 있게 됐다고 설명했다.
세종시는 국비와 기금예산 등 총사업비 768억 5000만 원을 투입해 202세대의 공공임대주택과 청년들의 정착, 취·창업, 생활편의 등을 위한 시설을 건설할 계획이다.
입주 대상은 미혼 청년(19∼39세)과 대학생 1인 가구며 임대료는 시세 대비 반값 수준으로 책정될 예정이다.
단, 기준 중위소득 170% 이하 소득 기준을 충족해야 하며 기본 2년, 최대 6년까지 거주할 수 있다.
행정중심복합도시건설청(이하 행복청)은 4-2생활권에 캠퍼스와 연계된 공원 및 광장, 대학생과 청년근로자 등을 위한 청년주택 및 상업시설이 어우러지는 청년창의존을 2023년 6월 지구단위계획에 반영한 바 있다.
세종시는 사업대상지인 4-2생활권 집현동(UR3-3) 부지매입을 위해 행복청, 한국토지주택공사와 협의해 ‘행정중심복합도시 토지공급지침’ 개정 등 행정절차 이행 후 사업을 본격 착수할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
