배달의민족 운영사 ㈜우아한형제들은 현행 피터얀 반데피트 임시대표 체제를 당분간 유지할 방침이라고 8월 23일 밝혔다.
구체적인 시점은 아직 정해지지 않았으나, 최소 연말까지는 현 체제를 유지하며 치열한 시장 경쟁 상황 대응에 집중할 계획이다.
반데피트 대표는 딜리버리히어로(DH)의 COO(Chief Operating Officer)로서 2021년부터 우아한형제들의 사내이사를 약 3년 간 수행하며 경영에 지속적으로 참여해온 바 있다. 지난 7월 이사회를 통해 임시 대표로 선임됐다.
우아한형제들 관계자는 “당분간 현 경영 체제를 지속해 리더십 변화에 따른 영향을 최소화하고 불확실성 높은 대내외 환경을 극복해 나가고자 한다”며 “앞으로도 책임감 있는 경영으로 서비스 개선 및 고객가치 향상에 총력을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
Delivery.ethnic's interim CEO to remain in place

On August 23, Ua Han Brothers, the operator of Delivery.ethnic, announced that it will maintain the current interim CEO Peter Yan Vandepit for the time being.
While the specific timing has not yet been determined, the company plans to maintain the current system until at least the end of the year and focus on responding to the fierce market competition.
Mr. Vandefiet has been involved in the company's management since 2021 as Chief Operating Officer of DeliveryHero (DH) and has been a member of the board of directors of Elegant Brothers for approximately three years. He was appointed as interim CEO by the board of directors in July.
“We will continue the current management system for the time being to minimize the impact of the leadership change and overcome the uncertain internal and external environment,” said a spokesperson for Elegant Brothers. ”We will continue to focus on improving services and enhancing customer value through responsible management.”
