군포시 장애인가족지원센터 개소식 개최

군포시 장애인가족지원센터(센터장 고병선, 이하 센터)가 지난 8월 21일 군포시장애인센터 다목적실에서 개소식을 개최했다.

하은호 군포시장, 김귀근 군포시의회 의장, 장애인 당사자와 가족, 유관 기관 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 열린 이날 개소식은 센터 소개, 축사, 기념촬영, 테이프 커팅식 순으로 진행됐다.

군포시는 2021년 12월 ‘군포시장애인가족지원 조례’ 제정 이후, 2024년 4월 센터 위탁운영기관을 모집해 (사)한국장애인부모회 군포시지부를 선정, 사)한국장애인부모회 군포시지부 2024년 7월 1일 센터 운영을 시작했다.

센터는 군포시장애인센터 1층에 사무실과 상담실을 조성, 장애인 가족 상담 및 사례관리, 장애인 가족역량강화 사업, 장애인 가족돌봄 및 휴식지원 등 다양한 프로그램을 진행할 예정이다.

고병선 센터장은 “질높은 서비스를 제공을 통해 장애인과 장애인가족의 행복한 삶을 누릴 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 포부를 전했다.

하은호 군포시장은 “현대 사회 들어 가족관계가 해체되고 전통적인 가족의 공동체 모습이 붕괴되어 가는 와중에 평생 돌봄이 필요한 장애인 가족이 겪는 어려움은 커져만 가고 있다. 장애인가족지원센터가 종합적인 지원체계 구축을 통해 안착할 수 있도록 아낌없는 지원과 협조를 하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Promoting various projects to improve welfare for disabled persons and their families in Gunpo City

Gunpo City Disabled Family Support Center (Director Go Byeong-seon, hereinafter referred to as the Center) held an opening ceremony in the multipurpose room of the Gunpo City Disabled Center on August 21.

The opening ceremony, which was held with the attendance of approximately 100 people including Gunpo Mayor Ha Eun-ho, Gunpo City Council Chairman Kim Gwi-geun, disabled persons and their families, and officials from related organizations, was conducted in the order of center introduction, congratulatory remarks, commemorative photos, and a tape-cutting ceremony.

After enacting the ‘Gunpo City Disabled Family Support Ordinance’ in December 2021, Gunpo City recruited a center consignment operation organization in April 2024 and selected the Gunpo City Branch of the Korea Disabled Parents Association, and the Gunpo City Branch of the Korea Disabled Parents Association began operating the center on July 1, 2024. The center will establish an office and counseling room on the first floor of the Gunpo City Center for the Disabled, and will conduct various programs such as counseling and case management for families of the disabled, capacity building projects for families of the disabled, and care and rest support for families of the disabled.

Director Go Byeong-seon said, “We will strive to provide high-quality services so that the disabled and their families can live happy lives.”

Mayor Ha Eun-ho of Gunpo City said, “In modern society, family relationships are disintegrating and the traditional family community is collapsing, and the difficulties faced by families of the disabled who require lifelong care are only increasing.
