광시는 12일 시청 중회의실에서 박승원 광명시장, 이용현 광명교육지원청 교육장 등 관계자 20여 명이 참석한 가운데 연구용역 추진 방향을 공유하고 세부 진행 방안을 논의했다.
이번 연구용역은 ‘광명 과학고’ 차별성 개발 및 과학 교육 다양성 확장 논의를 위해 마련됐으며 ▲광명시 과학고 설립 여건 및 교육 환경 분석 ▲시민 사회 의견 수렴 ▲광명 과학고 유치 타당성 및 차별성 발굴 등이 주요 과업이다.
이날 보고회에서 시는 시민 사회의 탄탄한 지지를 기반으로 과학고 유치 동력을 확보할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 이를 위해다양한 시민과 교육전문가, 이해관계자 등 실수요자 중심 각계각층의 의견을 모아 대응 전략을 모색할 방침이다.
