중부내륙선 양평방향 문경새재IC~연풍IC 야간시간 전차로 차단

【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=한국도로공사 충북본부(본부장 배왕규)는 중부내륙고속도로 양평방향 문경새재IC에서 연풍IC 14km 구간을 9월 23일부터 26일까지 야간시간(22시~익일 08시) 전면차단한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공사는 노후화된 중부내륙고속도로의 터널시설물 긴급 보수공사 등으로 이용객의 불편과 작업자의 사고위험을 최소화하기 위하여 부득이하게 시행된다.

해당 기간 중 문경새재IC 양평방향 진입이 불가하고, 양평방향 이용차량은 문경새재IC에서 진출하여 국도 3호선을 이용해 연풍IC로 재진입할 수 있다.

한국도로공사 충북본부는 내비게이션, 교통방송, 도로전광표지판(VMS) 등을 활용하여 교통상황을 상시 안내할 예정이며, 고속도로 교통정보 앱(App)이나 로드플러스 홈페이지 등을 통한 우회도로 안내도 병행한다.

배왕규 한국도로공사 충북본부장은 “해당 구간 이용객들께서는 이용 불가 시간을 사전에 확인하고 안전운전 및 우회도로 이용 등 협조를 당부드린다”며 “국민의 안전을 위하여 불가피하게 시행되는 공사인만큼 불편이 있더라도 양해해 주시길 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
