윤석열 대통령과 함께 체코를 공식 방문 중인 부인 김건희 여사가 20일(현지시간) 체코 국립도서관을 방문해 고서 복원 시연회를 참관했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
대통령실에 따르면 시연회에서 내구성·섬세한 유연성으로 주목받는 한지의 활용 가치가 체코에 소개됐다.
시연회는 윤 대통령의 체코 공식 방문을 계기로 한국국립중앙도서관·체코국립도서관 간 '고문헌 및 필사본 복원기술 교류' 양해각서(MOU) 체결 기념차 열렸다.
김태효 국가안보실 제1차장은 현지 브리핑에서 "프랑스 루브르 박물관·이탈리아 바티칸 박물관에 이어 체코에서도 고문헌 복원에 한지가 널리 활용되고 있다"며 "우리 정부가 추진하는 한지의 유네스코 인류 무형 문화 유산 등재에 기여할 걸로것 기대한다"고 전했다.
