[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 2024 세계유산 가야문화축제 자원봉사자 발대식을 지난 23일 김해시청 대회의실에서 자원봉사자 150여명과 축제 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 개최했다.

자원봉사자들은 오는 10월 16일부터 20일까지 5일간 수릉원, 가야의거리, 대성동고분군, 연지공원 일원에서 개최되는 가야문화축제 때 단체복을 착용하고 오전 9시부터 오후 9시까지 2교대로 행사 안내, 교통·질서 유지, 통역 등 축제 전 분야에서 봉사활동을 한다.

발대식은 김해시자원봉사단체협의회 정송조 부회장과 배정숙 부회장이 자원봉사자를 대표해 선서문을 낭독하고 축제 성공 개최를 기념하는 단체 사진 촬영 순으로 진행됐다. 이어 자원봉사자들의 근무 요령과 실종아동 발생 시 대책 등 자원봉사자로서의 기본 소양 교육을 실시했다.

가야문화축제제전위원회 류동철 위원장은 격려사에서 “김해 방문의 해를 맞아 김해를 찾은 방문객들에게 언제든 다시 찾고 싶은 김해가 될 수 있도록 자원봉자사 한분 한분이 김해시의 홍보대사가 되어 달라”고 밝혔다.
