[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 경남도 일자리 경진대회에서 김해시가 대상을 수상했다고 25일 밝혔다. 이번 시상은 경남도가 고용노동부 주관 2024년 전국 지방자치단체 일자리 대상에서 경남도정 사상 최초로 종합대상인 대통령상을 수상함에 따라 관련 유공자를 표창하고 도내 지역 주도 일자리 창출 성과를 공유, 확산하고자 마련됐다.
김해시는 ‘고용취약계층을 위한 일자리 창출 3종 버스 운영’을 우수사례로 제출해 대상을 수상했다. 구직정보 취약계층 구직자들에게 기업탐방, 현장면접을 지원하는 ‘희망일자리 버스’, 산업단지 사회초년생 청년들의 출퇴근을 돕기 위한 ‘산단 근로자 무료 통근버스’, 소규모 사업장 소속 근로자를 대상으로 한 ‘찾아가는 근로자 건강검진 버스’ 등 버스와 연계한 찾아가는 일자리 시책이란 점에서 높은 점수를 받았다.
홍태용 시장은 "김해만의 독자적인 일자리 정책을 지속적으로 발굴하고 적극 추진한 결과가 좋은 평가로 이어진 것"이라며 "앞으로도 중앙부처, 경남도와 의 협업한 맞춤 일자리 사업을 추진해 지역 일자리 시장 안정화를 선도해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
