정책실명제란, 주요 정책에 참여하는 관련자의 실명과 의견 등 관련 자료를 공개하는 제도로 행정의 투명성 강화를 위해 운영되고 있다.
더불어 시는 ‘국민신청실명제’를 운영해 시민이 알고 싶은 정책에 대해 심의를 거쳐 정책의 추진 내용, 관련자 실명 등을 공개한다.
신청 대상은 ▲주요 시정 현안 ▲30억 원 이상 예산 투입 사업 ▲1억 원 이상 연구용역 사업 ▲다수 시민과 관련된 자치법규 제·개정 사항 등이다. 정보공개법상 비공개 사유에 해당할 때는 제외될 수 있다.
공개를 원하는 정책이 있는 사람은 시흥시 누리집 신청서를 참고해 이메일, 우편 등의 방법으로 신청하면 된다.
시 관계자는 “시민과 함께 투명하고 책임감 있는 정책을 추진하겠다”라며, “시민 여러분의 많은 관심과 신청을 부탁드린다”라고 말했다.
