한중도시우호협회(회장 권기식)는 9월26일 보도자료에서 “한중도시우호협회는 9월26일 오전 서울시 영등포구 여의도동 소재 한중경제협력센터에서 중국 후베이(湖北)성 황스(黃石)시 경제기술개발구와 한중 기업교류 및 투자를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다”고 알렸다.
자료에 의하면, 권기식 회장과 콩쥔(孔俊) 황스시 경제기술개발구 관리위원회 부주임은 이날 업무협약서에 서명한 뒤 양측의 경제협력을 다짐했다. 권기식 회장은 황스시 테샨(鐵山)구와의 도시교류를 위한 업무협약에도 서명했다. 권기식 회장은 "후베이성의 대표적인 산업도시인 황스시 개발구와 업무협약을 체결한 만큼 황스시에 대한 기업교류와 투자에 많은 관심을 기울이겠다"고 말했다. 황스시 한국방문단장인 궈보(郭波) 부시장(경제기술개발구 서기ㆍ테샨구 서기)은 "한중경제협력센터를 운영하는 한중도시우호협회와의 협력을 통해 황스시와 한국의 경제발전을 위해 힘을 모으겠다"고 말했다.
이날 협약식에는 한중도시우호협회에서 권 회장과 조우제 연구소장, 김용욱 비서실장 등이 참석했고, 황스시에서는 궈 부시장과 장샹양(張向陽) 황스시 국유자본투자그룹 총경리, 양자오롱(楊早容) 따예(大冶)시 상무부시장, 콩쥔(孔俊) 경제기술개발구 관리위원회 부주임, 뤄광원(羅光文) 시싸이샨(西塞山)구 부구청장, 왕하이빙(王海兵) 샤루(下陸)구 부구청장 등이 참석했다.
황스시는 후베이성 남동부에 위치한 인구 260만여명 규모의 산업도시로 철강ㆍ시멘트ㆍ의류ㆍ전자기기ㆍ진주 산업 등이 발전한 것으로 알려졌다. 권기식 회장은 협약식 후 황스시 방문단과 함께 인천시의회를 방문해 산업경제위원회(위원장 김유곤 시의원)와 한중 경제협력 간담회를 가졌다. 한중도시우호협회는 지난 2016년 길림성 훈춘(琿春)시 인민정부, 2021년 길림성 연변조선족자치주 인민정부와 각각 경제 및 도시교류 업무협약을 체결했다.
