【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE(와이즈)캠퍼스 대학일자리플러스센터(센터장 하성)는 지난 9월 25일 교내 원효관 글로벌에이스홀에서 ‘공공기관 인재KEY움’ 채용설명회를 개최했다.

이번 채용설명회는 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 대학일자리플러스센터에서 주관하고, 고용노동부 포항지청에서 주최하여 진행하였으며 한국수력원자력이 참여하여 재학생들과 졸업예정자들에게 취업 정보를 제공하는 기회를 마련했다. 이번 채용설명회는 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스, 위덕대학교, 한동대학교 재학생 80여 명이 참석하여 많은 관심을 보였다.
채용설명회는 원자력 등 직군별 채용 대비 취업특강을 시작으로 연도별 채용 규모 및 향후 채용 계획, 채용 분야별 모집 요강과 대비 방법을 안내하며 채용 직군별 현직자 1:1 멘토링이 이루어졌다. 글로벌에이스홀에서 진행된 한국수력원자력의 인사처 인사채용부 특강에서 기관의 비전과 채용 계획에 관해 설명하고, 학생의 질문에 대답하는 시간을 가졌다.
또한 원자력·기계·전기·전자, 토목·건축, 사무직 직군에 종사하는 현직자 멘토들이 스페이스 위콤보 3층 스마트시티DX에서 36명의 학생들을 대상으로 1:1 멘토링을 진행했다.
한국수력원자력 인사처 인사채용부 류주현 차장은 “공공기관에서 일하는 것은 사회에 기여하는 중요한 역할을 맡은 것이다.”라고 말하며 “이번 설명회를 통해 많은 학생들이 공공 분야에 관심을 가지고 기관의 업무 환경과 문화에 대해 이해할 수 있기를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
멘토링에 참석한 이정빈 학생(창의융합공학부 에너지공학전공)은 “이번 채용설명회를 통해 한수원의 인사담당자들과 직접 대화할 수 있었고 구체적인 정보를 얻을 수 있어 많은 도움이 되었다며, “현직자와의 만남은 공공기관 취업을 준비하는 저에게 정보를 얻을 수 있는 값진 시간이었으며 앞으로의 취업 준비에 큰 자극이 될 것 같다.”라고 소감을 전했다.
동국대 WISE캠퍼스 대학일자리플러스센터 하성 센터장은 “이번 채용설명회를 통해 학생들이 공공기관의 채용 과정을 이해하며 요구되는 능력을 분석할 수 있었고, 이는 향후 공공기관 취업 과정에서 큰 자산이 될 것이라 생각이 되며, 앞으로도 다양한 채용설명회를 통해 기관과 학생들의 교류를 확대할 계획을 마련하겠다.”라고 말했다.
동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 대학일자리플러스센터는 앞으로도 학생들의 진로 개발과 취업 지원을 위해 지속적으로 다양한 프로그램을 제공할 계획이며, 향후 더욱 많은 학생들이 참여할 수 있는 프로그램을 꾸준히 확대해 나갈 예정이다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus University Job Plus Center (Director Ha Seong) held the ‘Public Institution Talent KEYum’ Recruitment Briefing Session at the Wonhyo Hall Global Ace Hall on September 25.
This recruitment briefing session was hosted by Dongguk University WISE Campus University Job Plus Center and organized by the Pohang Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power participated to provide employment information to current students and graduates. Meeting with current employees was a valuable time for me to obtain information while preparing for employment at a public institution, and I think it will be a great stimulus for my future employment preparations.”
Dongguk University WISE Campus University Job Plus Center Director Ha Seong said, “Through this recruitment briefing, students were able to understand the recruitment process at public institutions and analyze the required abilities, and I think this will be a great asset in the future employment process at public institutions. We plan to expand the exchange between institutions and students through various recruitment briefings in the future.”
