허일섭 GC녹십자 회장이 창립 57주년을 맞아 임직원에게 당부한 말이다.
의약품을 제조·판매하는 제약기업 GC녹십자(대표 허은철)는 창립 57주년을 맞아 경기도 용인 목암타운에서 창립기념식을 진행했다고 10월 2일 밝혔다.
허일섭 GC(녹십자홀딩스) 회장은 이날 창립기념사에서 "올해 GC가족은 글로벌 토털 헬스케어 기업으로 가는 여정에 의미있는 발자국을 남겼다”고 치하했다.
허 회장은 올패 성과에 대해 “알리그로(Alyglo)가 미국 시장에 순조롭게 진출했으며, CR제약그룹과의 제휴를 통해 중국 시장에 발판을 다졌고, 베트남에 최초의 유전자·암 전문 종합 진단·판독 기관을 설립하는 등 글로벌 진출에 적극 나선 한 해였다”고 돌아봤다.
이어 “임직원은 '인류의 건강한 삶에 이바지한다'는 사명감을 자양분으로 삼아 과감하고 지속적인 연구개발과 혁신의 노력을 멈추지 말아야 한다"고 주문했다.
올해 창립기념식은 GC녹십자를 포함한 13개 가족사가 함께했으며 오창·화순·음성공장 등 행사에 참석하지 못한 임직원은 온라인으로 기념일을 축하했다.
GC녹십자에 따르면 이날 행사에서는 회사 발전에 크게 기여한 임직원에게 수여하는 ‘녹십자 대장’을 포함한 각종 표창 시상식도 진행했다.
녹십자 대장은 GC녹십자 QM실 신웅 실장, R&D부문 MSAT 차경일 본부장 등 2명에게 돌아갔다. 또한 녹십자 장은 GC 전략기획본부 전략2담당 김유진 PM, GC녹십자 컴플라이언스실 대외협력팀 김대중 팀장, GC녹십자의료재단 진단검사의학본부 진검센터 전유라 부서장 등 3명에게 수여됐다.
이밖에도 GC녹십자웰빙 IP본부 WS팀 등 22개팀에게 단체 표창이, GC셀 개발본부 RA팀 이영은 님 등 68명에게 우수 표창이, GC녹십자EM 박충권 대표를 비롯한 242명의 임직원에게는 근속 표창이 수여됐다.

“Let's strive for bold and continuous R&D and innovation!”
These were the words of GC Green Cross Chairman Heo Il-seop to employees on the occasion of the company's 57th anniversary.
GC Green Cross (CEO Heo Eun-cheol), a pharmaceutical company that manufactures and sells medicines, announced on Oct. 2 that it celebrated its 57th anniversary with a ceremony at Mokam Town in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.
“This year, the GC family has left a meaningful footprint on the road to becoming a global total healthcare company,” said GC (Green Cross Holdings) Chairman Heo Il-seop in his anniversary speech.
“It was a year of active global expansion, with Alyglo smoothly entering the U.S. market, establishing a foothold in the Chinese market through a partnership with CR Pharmaceutical Group, and establishing the first comprehensive diagnostic and reading institute specializing in genetics and cancer in Vietnam,” said Chairman Heo.
“Employees should continue to make bold and continuous efforts in research and development and innovation with the mission of 'contributing to the healthy life of mankind' as the nourishment,” he said.
This year, 13 family companies, including GC Green Cross, participated in the anniversary ceremony, and employees who could not attend the event at the Ochang, Hwasun, and Eumseong plants celebrated the anniversary online.
According to GC Green Cross, the event also featured various recognition awards, including the “Green Cross Captain,” which is awarded to employees who have made significant contributions to the company's development.
The Green Cross Captain was awarded to Shin Woong, head of GC Green Cross's QM department, and Cha Kyung-il, head of MSAT, R&D department. The Green Cross was also awarded to Kim Yoo-jin, PM of Strategy 2 at the GC Strategic Planning Division, Kim Dae-jung, head of the External Affairs Team at the GC Compliance Office, and Jeon Yura, head of the Diagnostic Laboratory Center at the Diagnostic Laboratory Medicine Division of the GC Green Cross Medical Foundation.
In addition, 22 teams, including the WS Team at the IP Headquarters of GC Green Cross and 68 employees, including Ms. Lee Young-eun of the RA Team at the GC Cell Development Center, were awarded excellence citations, and 242 employees, including Mr. Park Chung-kwon, CEO of GC Green Cross EM, were awarded service citations.
