[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 2024 대한민국 문화경영 대상 지방자치부문 대상을 수상했다.
헤럴드경제와 코리아헤럴드가 주최하는 2024 대한민국 문화경영 대상은 올해로 19회째를 맞아, 사회 각 분야에서뛰어난 경쟁력을 지닌 기관·인물·브랜드 등을 발굴해 국내외에 널리 알리기위해 제정됐다.
지난달 26일 한국프레스센터에서 진행된 시상식에서는 광주시를 비롯해 전북콘텐츠융합진흥원, 강원관광재단, 세종문화회관, 국립극장, 스타벅스 등총 41개 기관이 수상의 영예를 안았다.
방세환 시장은 “이번 수상은 제20회 WASBE 세계관악컨퍼런스를 성공적으로 개최해 광주시의 문화와 가치를 널리 알리고 지역 문화예술 저변 확대에 큰 기여를 한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 보다 많은 시민들이문화예술을 부담 없이 즐길 수 있는 여건 조성에 힘쓰겠다”고 소감을 전했다.
