[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 ‘2024년 광주시 마을공동체 한마당축제’를 개최한다.
오는 9일 오후 2시부터 시청 WASBE 광장에서 주민이 주체가 되어 이웃과 함께 소통하고 화합하며 지역의 문제를 발견하고 해결점을 찾고자 하는 주민 모임이다.
2024년마을공동체 사업은 관내에서 활동 중인 마을공동체 중 16개를 선정해 4월부터 10월까지 환경개선, 문화·예술, 돌봄·교육, 복지 등 다양한 분야에 관심을 둔 주민들이 모여 마을공동체 사업을 추진 중이다.
이에 시는 마을공동체 사업의 성과를 공유함과 동시에 지역 네트워크를 활성화하기 위해 사업 참여 공동체와 더불어 시민들이모두 함께할 수 있는 소통의 장을 마련했다.
이번 행사는 올해 선정된 16개 마을공동체가 부스를 운영하며 그간의활동 사례 전시에 더해 각종 체험 활동도 진행해 시민들과 어우러질 수 있는 공간 마련에 주력했다. 그리고 공동체가 그동안 갈고닦은 실력을뽐낼 수 있는 문화공연까지 무대에 올려 더욱 다채로운 축제가 될 예정이다.
또한, 부대행사로 알파카 체험, 전통 놀이, 페이스페인팅 및 소방 안전교육도 별도 운영할 예정이다.
