광명시, 시민화합체육대회 성료

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시는 제43회 시민의 날을 맞아 개최된 시민화합체육대회를 마무리했다.

지난 5일 광명시민체육관 잔디광장에서 18개 동 2천500여 명의 주민이 참여해 광장을 가득 메우며 소통과 화합의 장을 펼쳤다.

식전 행사로 광명시 체조협회 선수단이 축하공연을 선보였고, 18개 동 입장 시 각 동의 개성을 살린 입장 퍼포먼스로 행사 분위기를 고조시켰다. 이후 필묵 퍼포먼스, 대회사, 축사, 선서 등의 순서로 행사가 진행됐다.

박승원 광명시장은 축사를 통해 “경쟁도 좋지만 가장 중요한 것은 다치지 않는 것이다”라며 안전을 당부하고, “오늘 이 자리에서 경쟁을 넘어 서로를 응원하고 함께하는 기쁨을 나누는 날이 되었으면 한다”고 전했다.

이후 계주, 줄다리기, 후크볼, 승부차기 등 11개 종목에서 18개 동 주민대표의 열띤 경쟁 아래에 대회가 전개됐다.

대회 종합 우승은 소하1동이 차지했으며, 2등은 철산3동, 공동 3등은 광명5동과 하안3동이 뒤를 이었다.
