안산시, 프랑스 파리 동부행정구역 대표단 방문

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시는 프랑스 파리 동부행정구역 대표단과 교류 의향서 체결을 위한 초석을 다졌다.

시는 지난 4월 대한민국시도지사협의회의 ‘프랑스 파리 동부행정구역 협력 지방자치단체 모집’에 희망서를 제출했고, 제출한 자치단체 가운데 가장 적합한 도시로선정됐다. 이번 만남은 본격적인 교류의 첫발이자 내달께 개최될 교류의향서 체결을 위한 사전 회의 차원에서 이뤄졌다.

지난 10일 안산시청에서 피에르 미루도 프랑스 파리 동부행정구역 경제개발위원장을 포함한 4명의 대표단이 참여했다. 양 대표단은 안산국제거리극축제 초청 및 미술관 전시 등 문화교류와 학생과 대학 연구원 등 청년 교류, 그리고 경제 협력에 뜻을 모았다.

프랑스 파리 동부행정구역은 파리 광역 ‘그랑파리 메트로폴’을 구성하는 12개 지방자치단체 공동체 중 하나다. 13개의 ‘꼬뮌’(기초 지방자치단체)으로 구성된 동부행정구역은 경제, 문화의 분야에서 선도적 역할을 담당하고 있으며, 대기업과 연구 시설 등이 소재해 있어 파리의 총체적 발전에 기여하고 있다.
