[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원특례시의회가 제20회 수원합창제에 참석했다.
(사)수원음악협회가 60주년을 기념하여 열린 이날 합창제는 12일(토) 수원제1야외음악당에서 이재식 의장 등 수원시의원을 비롯하여 수원음악협회 회원, 시민 등 1천여 명이 참석하여 자리를 빛냈다.
주요 공연으로는 ▲밀양아리랑, 뱃노래(수원여성합창단) ▲못잊어, 신고산타령(광교여성합창단) ▲Volare, 옹헤야(수원시여성실버합창단) 등이 있다.
이재식 의장은 “아름다운 합창을 들려주시기 위해 어린이부터 중장년, 실버합창단까지 15개 합창단이 매년 한자리에 모인다는 사실이 놀럽다”며 “수원합창제의 성공적 개최를 위해 한마음으로 모여주신 합창단 여러분께 깊이 감사드린다”고 밝혔다.
한편 수원음악협회는 1964년에 설립되어 회원수 110명을 보유하고 있으며 향토음악제, 수원합창제, 신예음악회 등의 활동을 이어나가고 있다.
