[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥시 이현준기자] 시흥시가 ‘2024년 장애인 평생교육이용권 지원사업’을 추가 모집한다.
이번 추가 모집은 10월 25일까지 25명 내외를 선착순으로 1차 모집 당시 신청 미달분과 중도 취소로 인한 잔여 예산을 활용한 것으로, 지원 대상은 관내 거주 19세 이상의 등록 장애인이다.
교육부가 주관하는 ‘장애인 평생교육이용권 지원사업’은 장애인의 평생교육 참여 기회 제고와 접근성을 강화하기 위해 19세 이상 등록 장애인에게 1인당 연간 35만 원의 평생교육 프로그램(강좌)의 수강료 및 교재비를 지원하는 제도다. 단, 2024년 일반 평생교육 이용권 수혜자 또는 장학재단법에 따른 국가장학금 수혜자는 중복 지원이 불가하다.
장애인 평생교육이용권은 ‘보조금24’ 누리집을 통해 10월 14일부터 25일 오후 6시까지 신청할 수 있으며, 중증 장애 등의 사유로 온라인 신청이 불가능한 경우에는 주소지 행정복지센터 및 평생학습과에서도 방문 신청이 가능하다.
선정자는 ‘평생교육희망카드(NH농협)’를 발급받은 후에는 지역과 관계 없이 평생교육이용권 누리집에 등록된 전국 약 3,100개 평생교육기관의 프로그램을 수강할 수 있다.
