최고의 크리스마스 커피를 미리 만나는 스타벅스 ‘리저브 프리미엄 클래스’가 열흘간 진행된다.
스타벅스 코리아(대표이사 손정현)가 ‘차가운 겨울, 마음을 따뜻하게 녹여줄 크리스마스’라는 주제로 최고 품질의 스타벅스 리저브 커피를 체험하는 ‘리저브 프리미엄 클래스’를 선보인다고 10월 14일 밝혔다.
‘리저브 프리미엄 클래스’는 스타벅스 최고의 커피 전문가들이 진행하며 다양한 커피의 세계를 탐험할 수 있다. 토양, 기후, 재배 조건이 각기 다른 전 세계 커피 농장에서 수확된 최고 품질의 리저브 원두를 경험할 수 있으며 다양한 원두의 다양한 풍미와 특별한 커피 스토리를 접할 수 있다.
스타벅스 리저브 프리미엄 클래스 사전 예약은 10월 14일부터 선착순으로 진행되며 스타벅스 APP 내 ‘What's New 리저브 프리미엄 클래스’ 정보에서 가능하다. 밀도 높은 클래스 진행을 위해 회당 참가 인원은 6인 이하로 운영된다.
이번 리저브 프리미엄 클래스는 스타벅스의 겨울 시즌을 앞두고 미리 만나는 스타벅스 크리스마스 리저브 커피를 소개할 예정이며, 해당 원두를 활용한 다양한 커피 시음과 커피 제조 실습이 준비되었다.
‘리저브 크리스마스 2024’ 원두로 즐기는 ‘에스프레소 로마노’, ‘스트라파짜토’ 등 이탈리아 전통 에스프레소 음료 시음을 통해 에스프레소의 다양한 풍미와 매력을 탐색할 수 있다. ‘리저브 크리스마스 2024’ 원두는 오렌지의 풍미와 진저 캔디의 달콤한 끝 맛이 특징인 원두로 스타벅스의 숙성 수마트라 원두가 블렌딩된 특별한 커피다.
또한 에스프레소 머신이 없어도 카페 라떼를 제조할 수 있는 ‘스타벅스 드리퍼로 만드는 카페오레’, ‘마자그란’, ‘돌체오레’, ‘프렌치 크림 라떼’ 등 다양한 고객 참여 음료 제조 실습과 나만의 컵 꾸미기 활동을 통한 스타벅스의 특별한 경험을 제공한다.
특별한 커피와 푸드의 페어링 시간도 진행된다. 스타벅스 ‘가나아트파크점’에서만 판매하는 ‘가나슈 하우스 케이크’와 스타벅스 리저브 커피의 페어링을 통해 커피와 디저트의 완벽한 조화로움을 소개할 예정이다.
참가 고객에게는 스타벅스 리저브 미니 앞치마와 뱃지 등 소정의 증정품이 제공된다.
스타벅스 ‘리저브 프리미엄 클래스’ 운영 매장은 총 11개 매장으로 10월 25일부터 11월 15일까지 매주 금요일 하루 2차수씩 90분간 진행된다. 특히 이번 리저브 프리미엄 클래스부터 기존 9개 매장에서 ‘대전중앙로R’, ‘더제주송당파크R’ 등 2개점을 추가해 11개 리저브 매장에서 클래스를 운영한다.

Starbucks' Reserve Premium Class, a sneak peek at the best Christmas coffees, will run for 10 days.
Starbucks Korea (CEO Jung-Hyun Sohn) announced on October 14 that it will introduce Reserve Premium Class, a 10-day event to experience the highest quality Starbucks Reserve coffee under the theme of 'Cold Winter, Warm Heart Christmas'.
The Reserve Premium Class will be led by Starbucks' top coffee experts and will explore the diverse world of coffee. Guests will experience the highest quality reserve beans harvested from coffee farms around the world with different soils, climates, and growing conditions, and learn about the diverse flavors and unique coffee stories behind each bean.
Reservations for Starbucks Reserve Premium Classes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning October 14 and will be available in the Starbucks app under the “What's New Reserve Premium Classes” section. To ensure an intimate experience, each class will be limited to six participants.
The Reserve Premium Class will introduce the Starbucks Christmas Reserve coffee, a sneak peek into Starbucks' winter season, and will include a variety of coffee tastings and hands-on coffee-making experiences utilizing the beans.
Guests will be able to explore the diverse flavors and appeal of espresso through tastings of traditional Italian espresso drinks, including Espresso Romano and Strappaccato, made with the Reserve Christmas 2024 beans. The Reserve Christmas 2024 bean is a special blend of Starbucks' aged Sumatra beans with orange zest and a sweet ginger candy finish.
Starbucks will also offer a unique Starbucks experience with hands-on beverage-making activities and personalized cup decorating activities, including a Starbucks Dripper for café au lait, majagran, dolce au lait, and French cream latte, which allows guests to make a café latte without an espresso machine.
There will also be special coffee and food pairings. Starbucks Reserve coffee will be paired with a ganache house cake, exclusively available at Starbucks Ghana Art Park, to showcase the perfect harmony between coffee and dessert.
Participating guests will receive a small selection of freebies, including a Starbucks Reserve mini apron and badge.
A total of 11 Starbucks locations will be participating in the Reserve Premium Class, which will be held twice a day for 90 minutes every Friday from October 25 to November 15. In particular, from this Reserve Premium Class, Starbucks will operate the class at 11 Reserve stores, adding two more stores, including 'Daejeon Jungang-ro R' and 'Dejeju Songdang Park R' from the existing nine stores.
