브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 검찰이 17일 '도이치모터스 주가 조작 사건 연루 의혹'과 관련해 윤석열 대통령의 부인 김건희 여사에 대해 무혐의 처분했다. '김 여사 명품 가방 수수' 사건에 이어 또다시 김 여사에게 불기소 처분을 내린 것이다. 야당인 더불어민주당은 "검찰이 면죄부를 상납했다"라고 비판했다.
서울중앙지검 반부패수사2부(최재훈 부장검사)는 이날 김 여사 주가 조작 의혹과 관련해 "지금까지 수사를 통해 확인된 증거 관계 및 관련 법리를 종합할 때 피의자(김 여사)가 주범들과 시세 조종을 공모했다거나 그들의 시세 조종 범행을 인식 또는 예견하면서 계좌 관리를 위탁하거나 직접 주식 거래를 했다고 보기 어려워 금일 피의자에 대해 '혐의 없음' 결정했다"라고 밝혔다.

그는 "누가 봐도 김 여사가 주가 조작에 깊이 개입했다는 정황과 증거들이 쏟아져 나왔다"라며 "그러나 검찰은 무수한 증거와 정황을 철저히 외면했다"라고 지적했다.
이어 "검찰이 최소한의 사법 정의마저 외면한 지금, 특검(특별검사)만이 모든 진상을 규명할 유일한 길"이라며 "민주당은 오늘 더욱 강화된 특검법을 발의했다. 윤석열 정권이 이마저 거부한다면, 국민의 외면 속에 파멸의 길을 걷게 될 것"이라고 경고했다.
