윤석열 대통령이 오는 24일 안제이 두다 폴란드 대통령과 용산 대통령실에서 정상회담을 갖고 양국 간 실질 협력 방안을 논의한다고 대통령실이 17일 전했다. 두다 폴란드 대통령 내외는 오는 22~25일 한국을 국빈 방문한다.
대통령실 대변인실은 이날 오후 언론 공지에서 "윤 대통령이 24일 두다 대통령과 회담을 갖고 양국 간 실질 협력·지역·국제무대 협력 증진 방안을 논의 예정"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
이번 두다 대통령 방한은 지난 평창 동계올림픽 이후 약 6년 만으로 지난해 8월 전북 새만금 '2023 새만금 세계스카우트 잼버리대회'를 방문하려 했으나 태풍·현지 정치 문제 등으로 취소된 바 있다.
윤 대통령은 지난 7월 미국 워싱턴DC 나토(NATO·북대서양조약기구) 정상회의 계기 두다 대통령과 한·폴란드 정상회담을 갖고 방산 등 분야 경제협력 증진 방안에 대해 논의한 가운데 약 3개월 만의 재회다.
