[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 지난 16일 청년친화도시 경남도 평가에서 김해시와 함께 상위 2개 시·군으로 선정되었다고 18일 밝혔다.
청년 기본법에 따라 올해 처음으로 지정하는 청년친화도시는 각 광역자치단체에서 2개 지자체를 국무조정실에 추천한 후, 서면 및 현장평가를 거쳐 12월 전국 3개 지자체가 최종 선발된다.
거창군은 청년친화도시로의 도약을 위해 청년실태조사, 정책아이디어 공모, 전 군민이 함께 참여한 응원 릴레이 챌린지 등 다양한 활동을 펼쳐왔다. 또한 청년과 거창의 동반 성장을 상징하는 통합브랜드 ‘창창(昌昌)한 미래’를 새롭게 개발하여 거창군의 청년정책을 대내외로 알리는 계기로 삼았다.
