[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 16일부터 20일까지 2천년 가야역사와 문화를 녹여낸 ‘2024 세계유산 가야문화축제’를 축하하기 위해 4개국 4개 도시 28명의 국제 자매·우호도시 대표단이 김해를 방문했다고 21일 밝혔다.
지난 16일 미국 레이크우드시를 시작으로 17일 베트남 떠이닌성, 18일에는 중국 우시시와 일본 무나카타시 대표단이 홍태용 김해시장을 접견했으며 가야고분군 유네스코 세계유산 등재 1주년을 기념하는 개막식 참석에 앞서 환영 만찬을 함께 했다.
특히 베트남 떠이닌성 대표단은 지난 2월 떠이닌 사범대와 MOU를 체결한 인제대학교를 방문해 대학 교류에 관한 의견을 교환했다. 또 중국 우시시는 작년 11월 두 도시 간 체결한 의생명-의료기기 협약을 구체화하기 위해 김해의생명산업진흥원을 방문했다. 이어 벡스코에서 열리는 의료기기 전시회장 김해시 기업 부스를 방문해 기업 간 교류와 투자 방안에 대해 논의했다.
