[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 22일 시청 상황실에서 ‘진주시 교육경비보조 심의위원회’를 개최해 2025년 교육경비 보조금 지원 사업을 심의·의결했다.
이날 심의위원회에서는 유치원·초·중·고등학교 112곳 및 진주교육지원청에서 신청한 118개 사업 총사업비 41억원 규모의 2025년 교육경비 보조금 지원안에 대해 심도 있게 논의했다.
이번 교육경비 보조사업은 교육과정 프로그램 운영지원, 교육환경 개선사업, 교육기자재 구입 사업, 유치원 간식비 일부 지원, 유치원 돌봄 보조인력 지원, 직업교육혁신지구 사업 등이다.
진주시 관계자는 “학생들에게 양질의 교육환경을 제공해 교육경쟁력 강화와 우수 인재가 양성될 수 있도록 노력하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 교육분야 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 진주시는 교육경비 보조사업 외에도 진주미래인재학습센터를 운영하고, 미래세대행복기금으로 장학금 지원, 해외선진문화탐방, 진로코칭캠프 사업 등을 추진하고 있다.
