【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이동협)는 10월 31일 의회 본회의장에서 9일간의 일정으로 제286회 경주시의회 임시회를 개회했다고 밝혔다.

이날 제1차 본회의의 시작에 앞서 김항규 의원은 ‘경주시 재활용 선별시설 선별률 제고 방안’에 대해, 최재필 의원은 ‘태극기 달기 운동 활성화 방안’에 대해, 한순희 의원은 ‘경주시 저출생·고령화 현상 극복 방안’을 주제로 각각 5분 자유발언을 실시했다.
이어진 제1차 본회의에서는 제285회 임시회 회기결정의 건 및 회의록 서명의원 선임의 건을 의결했으며, 경주시 출자·출연 기관 사이버보안 관리 조례안을 비롯한 14건의 조례안과 2025년도 경상북도 농어촌진흥기금 조성에 따른 출연 동의안 등 8건의 동의안, 경주시 출자·출연기관 경영실적평가 결과보고((재)경주문화재단) 등 5건의 보고, 경주시 경관계획 재정비(안) 의견청취안 및 제4차 공유재산 변경안을 상정했다.
11월 1일부터 7일까지의 휴회기간 중 각 상임위원회에서는 상정된 조례안 및 일반안건에 대한 심사가 이루어지며, 마지막 날인 11월 8일 제2차 본회의에서는 각 상임위원회에서 심사한 조례안 및 기타안건을 심의 및 의결할 예정이다.
이동협 경주시의회 의장은 개회사에서 “비회기 중 경주시의회는 일본 우사시의회와의 교류협력 협정을 맺음으로써 공공외교 활동을 수행하고 국제적 역량을 제고하기 위한 노력을 기울여왔다.”고 전하며, “아울러 신라문화제 및 경주국제마라톤 등의 행사 마무리와 경주시민 체육대회의 준비로 노고가 많은 공직자 여러분께 감사드리고, 이번 임시회에서도 각자의 소임에 최선을 다해주시길 바란다.”고 당부했다.

During the recess period from November 1 to 7, each standing committee will review the proposed ordinances and general agenda items, and the 2nd plenary session on the last day, November 8, will deliberate and decide on the ordinances and other agenda items reviewed by each standing committee.
In his opening remarks, Gyeongju City Council Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop said, “During the non-session, the Gyeongju City Council has been working to conduct public diplomacy activities and enhance international capabilities by signing an exchange and cooperation agreement with the Usa City Council in Japan.” He added, “I would also like to thank all public officials who have worked hard to conclude events such as the Silla Cultural Festival and Gyeongju International Marathon and prepare for the Gyeongju Citizens’ Sports Competition, and I ask that you each do your best in your duties during this extraordinary session.”
