세종시교육청이 오는 11월 20일 서울중앙우체국 포스트타워 10층 대회의실에서 서울특별시교육청, 인천광역시교육청과 함께 ‘2024 대전환시대, 대한민국 미래교육 대토론회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 대토론회는 대한민국 교육 정책을 되돌아보며, 미래 교육의 방향을 함께 모색하기 위해 기획되었다. 특히 대전환 시대에 적합한 새로운 교육 정책 설계를 목표로 하고 있다.
대토론회는 서울특별시교육청 교육감, 인천광역시교육청 교육감, 세종특별자치시교육청 교육감의 환영사와 김영호 국회 교육위원회 위원의 축사로 시작된다. 이후 프로그램은 1부와 2부로 나뉘어 진행된다.
1부에서는 ‘대한민국 교육개혁의 방향과 재설계 구도’를 주제로, 김태일 (전)장안대학교 총장이 기조 강연을 맡고, 반성진 (전)한국교육개발원 원장이 총론 발표를 통해 교육 정책의 성찰과 미래 교육의 재설계 방안을 제시할 예정이다. 이와 함께 현장 교원들이 참여하는 토론도 진행된다.
2부는 유·초·중등 교육, 고등 교육, 평생직업 교육, 행·재정 인프라 등 4가지 주제를 다루며, 각 분야의 전문가들이 책임 교육 및 학교 자치 등 10가지 의제에 대한 발표를 진행한다. 이를 통해 중장기 미래교육의 방향과 전략이 논의될 예정이다.
이번 대토론회는 학생, 학부모, 교직원, 시민 등 교육에 관심이 있는 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 현장 참석이 어려운 경우 홍보문에 포함된 QR코드를 통해 유튜브를 통해 실시간으로 시청할 수 있다.
최교진 교육감은 “이번 대토론회는 교육 공동체가 함께 미래 교육의 방향성을 고민하고, 대한민국 교육의 새로운 길을 열어가는 중요한 기회가 될 것”이라며, “많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 강조했다.

Sejong City Office of Education to Hold ‘2024 Future Education Debate’
Sejong City Office of Education announced that it will hold the ‘2024 Great Transition Era, Republic of Korea Future Education Debate’ with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education on November 20th at the 10th floor conference room of the Seoul Central Post Office Post Tower.
This debate was planned to look back on the Republic of Korea’s education policies and seek the direction of future education together. In particular, it aims to design a new education policy suitable for the Great Transition Era.
