[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 19일 김해시 인구정책위원회를 열어 2024년 올해 최고의 인구시책으로 ‘STATION-L(공공형 육아지원공간) 사업’을 선정했다고 21일 밝혔다.
올해 최고의 인구시책 평가는 올해 추진한 30개 사업을 대상으로 1차 서면심사로 10개 사업을 선별한 다음 10월 16일부터 22일까지 7일간 시민 474명이 참여한 2차 온라인 시민투표를 실시해 순위가 높은 6개 사업을 인구정책위원회 심사 안건으로 상정, 최종 순위(최우수 1, 우수 2, 장려 3)를 정했다.
최우수 인구 시책으로 선정된‘STATION-L 사업’은 영유아의 놀이, 육아맘의 휴식, 배움을 융합한 공공형 실내놀이 시설을 설치하는 가족친화형 복합육아공간 조성 사업이다.
시는 작년 11월 말 개소한 1호점에 이어 올해 5월 장유다누림센터 내 2호점 다누림놀이터를 설치했다.
경남에서 가장 젊은 도시답게 아이와 양육자가 언제든지 자유롭게 이용할 수 있는 육아친화공간을 마련하여 다양한 가족 간 유대감 강화 프로그램을 추진하고 돌봄 직원까지 배치해 양질의 육아 환경을 조성했다는 점에서 가장 높은 평가를 받았다.
우수 시책으로는 저출생 극복 배려주차문화 확산을 위해 시청과 각 읍면동 행정복지센터에 설치한 임산부 전용 주차구역을 영유아 동승자까지 확대한‘임산부·영유아 가족배려 주차구역 설치사업’과 청년의 자립 역량을 키우고 지역 정착 기반 마련을 위해 장유다누림센터와 인제대학교 인근에 설치한 수요충족형 거점별 특화 청년공유공간인‘STATION-G’조성 사업이 뽑혔다.
아울러 ▲출생아동 및 어린이 다중이용시설 전용 지역화폐인‘김해시 웰컴키즈 상품권 발행사업’▲양육 부담을 해소하기 위한 ‘김해시 대중교통 어린이 요금 무료화 사업’▲다양한 돌봄 수요에 대응한 지역 중심의 돌봄체계인‘우리아이 방과후 돌봄, 안전한 맞춤 돌봄사업’이 장려로 선정됐다.
시 인구청년정책관에서 추진하는 우수 인구정책 선정과 시상은 2019년부터 시작돼 매년 신규 인구정책 성과 평가를 통해 우수시책을 선정, 시상함으로써 시정 모든 분야에서 혁신적인 인구시책 발굴 동기를 부여하고 사업 추진을 적극 유도한다.
