[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난달 14일부터 시작된 2024년산 공공비축미와 시장격리곡 매입이 계획대로 순조롭다고 22일 밝혔다.
올해 공공비축미와 시장격리곡 매입 계획량은 전년도에 비해 104t 늘어난 3,443t으로 전날까지 계획량의 58%인 1,980t을 매입 완료했으며 다음 달 초까지 읍면동별 지정 장소에서 건조벼를 매입한다.
홍태용 시장은 지난 21일 공공비축미·시장격리곡 건조벼를 매입하고 있는 한림DSC(벼 건조저장시설)를 방문해 매입 관계자, 출하 농업인들을 격려하고 의견을 청취했다.
홍 시장은 “어려운 여건 속에서도 고품질 김해 쌀을 생산해 주신 농업인들의 노고에 진심으로 감사드린다”며 “벼 매입이 차질없이 진행될 수 있도록 국립농산물품질관리원, 농협, 정부양곡 창고주 등 유관기관에서는 더 큰 관심을 갖고 협조해 주길 바란다”고 당부했다.
한편 출하 농업인의 가장 큰 관심사인 매입 대금은 수확기(10~12월)의 전국 평균 산지 쌀값으로 환산한 가격이며 벼 재배 농가의 경영 안정을 위해 중간정산금(우선지급금 4만원)은 매입 직후 먼저 지급하고 최종 정산금은 매입 가격이 확정되는 12월 말에 지급한다.
