[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 환경부 주관 2024년 일반수도사업 운영·관리 실태점검에서 ‘우수’등급에 선정됐다고 12일 밝혔다.

환경부는 경쟁력 있는 상수도 시스템을 구축하고 운영관리의 효율성을 높이기 위해 매년 일반수도사업 운영관리 실태를 점검·평가하고 있다.

올해 전국 168개 기관을 대상으로 실시된 이번 평가는 인구수에 따라 6개 그룹으로 분류해 3개 분야 29개 항목에 대해 평가가 이루어졌으며, 김해시는 급수인구 20만명 이상의 Ⅱ그룹에서 3년 연속 평가점수를 향상해 ‘우수’ 등급을 받으며 환경부 장관 표창(발전상)을 수상했다.

박창근 김해시 상하수도사업소장은 “앞으로도 김해시민들에게 안전하고 깨끗한 수돗물을 공급하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
