과천시가 ‘2025 과천시 SNS시민기자단’을 오는 2025년 1월 5일까지 공개 모집한다.
SNS시민기자단은 과천시에 대한 애정과 홍보 열정이 있는 사람으로, 현장 취재와 기사 작성, 사진·영상 촬영이 능숙하고 SNS 활동을 즐기는 시민이면 누구나 지원할 수 있다.
과천시는 응모자의 지원서를 토대로 심사를 진행해 내년 1월 중 과천시 블로그를 통해 최종 선발된 블로그·영상·사진·웹툰 기자 23명을 발표하고, 선발된 기자단은 내년 12월까지 활동하게 된다.
SNS시민기자단은 과천시의 정책, 문화, 관광, 여행, 생활정보, 축제, 맛집 등을 소재로 현장 취재를 통해 콘텐츠를 생산한다. 시민기자단이 작성한 콘텐츠는 블로그와 유튜브, 인스타그램 등 과천시 공식 SNS채널에 게시된다.
과천시는 채택된 기자단 콘텐츠에 대해서 소정의 원고료를 지급하며, 우수 콘텐츠에 대한 인센티브 지급과 활동 우수자 표창 등으로 양질의 콘텐츠가 제작될 수 있도록 지원할 예정이다.
한편, 과천시 SNS시민기자단은 2017년 1기를 시작으로 매년 과천의 구석구석을 누비며 홍보 콘텐츠를 직접 생산하며 시와 시민의 가교역할을 담당하고 있으며, 올해는 총 450건 이상의 양질의 콘텐츠를 제작했다.
SNS시민기자단 지원자는 과천시 누리집(www.gccity.go.kr)에서 지원서를 내려받아 작성하고 이메일(gccity99@hanmail.net)로 접수하면 된다.

Gwacheon City is openly recruiting ‘2025 Gwacheon City SNS Citizen Reporter Group’ until January 5, 2025.
Any citizen who has affection for Gwacheon City and passion for promotion, is skilled in on-site reporting, article writing, photography/video shooting, and enjoys SNS activities can apply.
Gwacheon City will conduct a screening based on the applicants’ applications and announce the final 23 blog/video/photo/webtoon reporters selected through the Gwacheon City blog in January next year. The selected reporters will be active until December next year.
The SNS Citizen Reporter Group produces content through on-site reporting on Gwacheon City’s policies, culture, tourism, travel, lifestyle information, festivals, restaurants, etc. The content written by the citizen reporters will be posted on Gwacheon City’s official SNS channels, such as blogs, YouTube, and Instagram.
Gwacheon City will pay a certain amount of manuscript fees for the content of the reporters selected, and will support the production of high-quality content by providing incentives for excellent content and awarding awards to those who excel in their activities.
Meanwhile, the Gwacheon City SNS Citizen Reporter Group has been producing promotional content directly by traveling to every corner of Gwacheon every year since its first term in 2017, and has been serving as a bridge between the city and its citizens.
