충남 서산시는 2025년 1월 설 명절을 맞아 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 서산사랑상품권을 112억 원 규모로 확대 발행한다고 26일 밝혔다.
이번 상품권 발행은 1인 구매 한도액을 기존 30만 원에서 50만 원으로 확대하고, 할인율을 7%에서 10%로 상향하여 특별 판매된다.
이는 시민들이 설 명절을 맞아 보다 많은 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 하기 위한 조치이다.
모바일(카드) 상품권은 1월 1일 오전 6시부터 ‘지역사랑 상품권 chak’ 어플을 통해 구매할 수 있으며, 지류 상품권은 1월 2일부터 농축협, 신협, 수협, 새마을금고, 우체국, 하나은행 등 58개 판매대행점에서 개점 시간에 구매할 수 있다.
구입한 상품권은 서산시 관내 가맹점 6764개소에서 사용할 수 있다.
이완섭 서산시장은 “서산사랑상품권의 1월 확대 발행을 통해 설 명절 시민의 가계 부담을 덜고, 물가 상승과 경기 침체로 위축된 소비를 촉진해 소상공인 매출 및 골목상권 활성화에 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
