(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천문화재단이 30일, 인천 섬 생활사 조사보고 제4집 ‘영흥도Ⅰ’을 발간했다고 밝혔다.
인천문화재단에 따르면, 재단은 인천광역시립박물관, 옹진군청과 함께 2021년 12월 ‘섬 조사·연구 및 섬마을 박물관 조성(운영) 사업’을 위한 업무협약을 체결하고 사라져가는 옹진군 내 도서 지역 생활 모습 조사에 뜻을 모았으며 2021년 ‘볼음도’, 2022년 ‘신도·시도·모도’, 2023년 ‘자월도’를 발간했다.
2024년 조사 대상 영흥도는 옹진군 영흥면 행정의 중심지이다.
영흥도는 2001년 개통된 영흥대교로 연륙 되어 섬 아닌 섬이지만 화력발전소와 영흥대교 건설로 생활 모습이 많이 변화하여 그 변화상을 기록하기 위해 선정하게 되었다.
영흥도는 섬 크기가 크고 조사 대상이 많아서 2년에 걸쳐서 조사를 진행한다.
올해 발간된 ‘영흥도Ⅰ’은 영흥도의 해양수산 생태환경, 영흥도 주변 섬 섬업벌 인근에서 발견된 영흥도선, 지적원도 및 임야원도를 활용한 영흥도 토지 분석, 영흥도의 목장, 경기만 일대 해로 등의 내용으로 영흥도와 관련된 내용을 모아 발간했다.
2025년 ‘영흥도Ⅱ’에서는 영흥도 주민들의 생활 모습을 본격적으로 기록하고 담을 예정이다.
