[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시와 지역기업이 힘을 모아 ‘장애인 문화예술단’을 설립해 문화예술 분야 안정적인 장애인 일자리를 창출한다.
시는 15일 시청 소회의실에서 지역기업과 유관기관 대표 등이 참석한 가운데 자회사형 장애인표준사업장 설립 업무협약을 체결했다.
자회사형 장애인표준사업장은 장애인고용의무사업주가 장애인 고용을 목적으로 발행주식 또는 출자총액의 50%를 초과 투자해 자회사를 설립하고 자회사에서 장애인을 고용한 경우 고용부담금을 감면해주는 제도다.
장애인 일자리는 제조업, 서비스업, 보조인력 등으로 일부 직종에 국한돼 다양한 분야 일자리 확대 요구가 이어지고 있다.
·협약식에는 김해상공회의소, 한국장애인고용공단 경남동부지사, 경남도장애인부모연대, 디케이락, 동원테크, 케이피항공산업, 메가병원 임직원 50여명이 참여했다.
이번 협약식으로 예술단 설립이 본격화된다.
예술단은 문화예술 분야에 재능이 있는 만18세 이상 증증장애인 13명이 1일 4시간 주 5일 정규직으로 근무하며 최저 임금 이상을 받는다.
또 지역 문화예술계 청년들이 지원인력으로 함께 근무하며 장애인의 악기연습 등을 돕는다.
경제활동에 어려움을 겪고 있는 청년들에게도 안정적인 일자리를 제공하는 것이다.
시와 협약기관은 지역기업의 참여를 확대하고 장애인 일자리를 지속적으로 늘려 향후 30명 이상의 장애인을 고용하는 오케스트라 규모의 예술단 운영을 목표로 한다.
장애인 문화예술단은 기업 후원과 공연활동 수익금으로 운영된다.

이번 업무협약이 이뤄지기까지 시와 김해상의, 장애인고용공단 경남동부지사는 지난해 3월부터 업무협력 체계를 구축하고 문화예술 분야 자회사형 표준사업장을 만들기 위해 상의 회원사 중 고용부담금을 내는 100인 이상 기업을 방문해 맞춤형 사업 설명을 이어왔다.
