[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 최근 일자리지원센터 구인구직 만남의 날을 시작으로 2025년 민생경제 안정을 위한 고용 창출 정책을 본격 추진한다고 21일 밝혔다.
지난 7일 김해시 일자리지원센터에서 추진한 ‘구인구직 만남의 날’ 행사는 비정기적 소규모 채용행사이다.
일시적으로 많은 구인 수요가 있는 기업을 발굴해 실질적인 취업 기회를 제공하고 기업에게는 우수 인재를 연결함으로써 상생의 고용 환경을 조성하는 장이 되고 있다.
시는 올해 지역 경제와 민생 안정을 위해 맞춤 고용 창출 정책을 추진한다.
먼저 시 채용행사에 지역 대표 중견기업과 함께해 청년 구직자들의 관심을 높이고 취업 기회를 제공한다.
시는 지난해 개최한 ‘2024 김해시 내 꿈을 잡(JOB)아라 채용박람회’에서 ㈜TKG태광과 같은 중견기업의 참여를 이끌어내며 성공적인 성과를 거뒀다.
기존 채용행사는 강소기업 등 관내 우수 중소기업을 위주로 발굴해 채용 연계했으나 생산직 위주의 구인이 이뤄지는 한계가 있었다. 따라서 시는 지역 대표 중견기업과 함께 다양한 직종을 발굴하고 채용을 연계해 관내 우수 인재의 지역 유출을 방지한다.
아울러 신중년 재취업을 지원하던 고용노동부의 신중년 경력형 일자리 사업이 지난해 종료됨에 따라 시는 자체사업으로 신중년 취업상담사 권역별 배치사업을 정비해 추진한다.
신중년 취업상담사를 일자리지원센터, 고용복지플러스센터, 내외동, 진영읍, 장유3동 등 권역별로 배치해 취업 연계를 강화하고 지역 맞춤형 통합 고용서비스를 확대한다.
이외에도 시, 대학, 특성화고, 일자리 유관기관으로 구성된 글로컬 고용거버넌스를 구축해 연계 협력을 통한 시너지 효과를 극대화할 방침이다. 이러한 협력 체계는 지역의 고용 정책과 서비스가 효율적으로 이뤄지는 기반을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
시 관계자는 “민생경제 안정은 지역사회 최우선 과제”라며 “지속적인 일자리 창출로 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 변화를 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
